Book update

“What you imagine as overwhelming or terrifying while at leisure becomes something you can cope with when you must-there is no time for fear.” Rebecca Solnit: A Paradise Built in Hell: The Extraordinary Communities That Arise in Disaster

Hello our dear friends, we’ve not given you an update for a while – partly because we have been busy editing the book in readiness for printing and publication and partly because, over the last few days, we have been taking stock of the world changing around us.

We are pleased to announce that the book’s content has been finalised bar the photographs which are currently being selected after which the final design will be applied. Our aim was always to have the book on sale during the ‘summer’ with a desire for a late June launch – this will not now be possible and we are instead targeting a launch in early August with hopefully a launch event in London in early September.

From around the middle April, we will be contacting all contributors with a special reduced-price offer for pre-orders. The book will be available for general pre-orders by the end of May.

Thanks for your patience and faith. Stay safe and hope to see you in London in September.

Peter and Chris
